The Consular Section at the United States Consulate General here will no longer respond to emails at HydNIV@state.gov by non-immigrant visa applicants and the general public. Applicants may instead send their mail inquiries to infoushyderabad@vfshelpline.com. For emergency visa appointments, applicants may mail their requests to the Consular Section at HydCEA@state.gov, said an official press release.
The Consulate here has a new helpline for visa enquiries over phone. For non-immigrant visa enquiries, the VFS Helpline can be accessed at 0120-6611411 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
